Both Casey Boyns and Randy Haag are already in the NCGA Hall of Fame.
But that’s not stopping them from doing what they’ve done for decades.
Boyns, a longtime caddie at Pebble Beach Golf Links, and Haag, a member at The OIympic Club, added to their illustrious NCGA resumes with two more wins at Spyglass Hill.
Boyns, the all-time leader in total career NCGA wins (27), earned what at the time was his 10th NCGA Senior title by winning the Super Senior Amateur Championship.
While Boyns, now 67, has won just about everything else, it marked his first Super Senior title.
Haag, who has 24 total career NCGA wins, earned his eighth NCGA Senior title by winning the Senior Amateur Championship. For the 64-year-old Haag, the win marked his third NCGA Senior Amateur title.
Said Haag about still being able to win in his 60’s: “I think winning now is more special than back then. I watched my dad lose his vision. So I just appreciate getting to be able to come out and play. You never know how long you'll be able to play.”
