2025 marked a record year for the Colorado Golf Foundation. Working toward our vision of inspiring kids on the course and in the classroom, we saw exciting community participation with more than 35,000 kids participating with the eight non-profits who received $85,000 from the Foundation grantmaking. The CGA invested more than $1.1 million through our youth caddie programs and junior player development efforts, serving more than 13,000. With nearly 50,000 kids served, this growth is a testament to everyone’s dedicated commitment to expanding programs to serve more kids. Collectively, we continue to innovate ways to ensure our sport grows across Colorado.
At the beginning of a new year, we hope to remind everyone of our responsibility to foster the next generation of golfers. Everyone knows the frustrations that come with a popular sport like golf. We hear quite often from our members about the packed tee sheets at their club. But as you reflect on the past year and look forward to your next golf season, remember that juniors are the lifeblood of our sport, and we owe it to them to inspire their participation.
Thankfully, your support and generosity are making this a reality. We received an outpouring of contributions from our members and community businesses to support our mission to provide funding for Colorado-based golf organizations and programs that use golf to build important life skills and character, with an emphasis on instilling hard work and self-reliance in young people. This included a year-end $50,000 gift to match any contributions received at the end of the year, which was met with resounding success this holiday season.
We want to thank and recognize the individuals and organizations who help us fund our programs and grants: 2025 PARTNERS. With your generosity and volunteerism, this work is possible.
