1Hartwiger Takes NC Senior Am, Brogden Secures Super SeniorCongratulations to Kathy Hartwiger of Pinehurst, NC, for winning the North Carolina Senior Women’s Amateur at Mooresville Golf Course. Hartwiger shot rounds of 75 and 72 for a score of 3-over-par. Hartwiger would secure victory on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff with second-place finisher Kimbra Benson.Additionally, accolades to Pat Brogden of Garner, NC, for winning the North Carolina Super Senior Women’s Amateur Championship. Brogden finished with scores of 72 and 78 to win the championship by three shots over Kathy Binkley.
