Nearly 80 of the world’s best golfers with disabilities converged on Fox Bend Golf Course in suburban Chicago for the 2nd Chicago Adaptive Open presented by Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, June 20–22. Conducted by the CDGA in conjunction with the United States Adaptive Golf Alliance (USAGA), the weekend began on Friday, June 20 with an adaptive golf clinic and unique pro-am before competition started Saturday, June 21. The 36-hole affair concluded on Sunday, June 22, with 19 Sports Classification winners being honored in addition to Overall champion Ford Martin, Overall Women’s champion Ryanne Jackson and Overall Senior champion Mark Sissom. Additionally, the CDGA partnered with CGN to live stream parts of both competition days.
