Winter of Reading could be just the motivation you’ve been looking for. By taking on this reading challenge for adults, you could discover a new favorite book, explore lesser known library services, and connect with other readers around the city.
To participate, pick up a game board at any Denver Public Library location. Complete five activities in a row, then trade it in for a limited edition mug or tote bag. Those who complete the whole board will get an additional special edition sticker.
While you’re working on your game board, attend fun events to help you along your journey. Spark your creativity at the Book Soundtrack and Book Cover Design Workshops. Explore reading in new ways at our Introvert Book Clubs and Page to Screen Series. Discover your next favorite read at a Book Buzz or the Battle of the Books.
Visit denverlibrary.org/winterofreading for all of our events, supplementary book lists, and more.
Once you finish the challenge, share your experience at denlib.org/worsurvey for a chance to win a $50 King Soopers gift card. You may even see your suggestions in next year’s Winter of Reading!
Winter of Reading is open to anyone 17 or older and is available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Arabic. It runs through January and February. Prizes are available while supplies last.
