As we have the last twelve years, this August, we’ll be celebrating Denver Days. Denver Days is all about bringing neighbors together, fostering meaningful relationships, and connecting with our larger, vibrant community in a multitude of fun and engaging ways where neighbors meet and connect. Did you know the Library also hosts Denver Days events?
Hint: You can see all the programming events at the Library–in person and virtual–by going to the Events tab on our homepage. Once there, try searching “Denver Days.”
Denver’s famous landmark restaurant and dining experience “Casa Bonita” reopened last summer! See if you can find any old newspaper articles about the infamous cuisine.
Hint: You can use Western History Subject Index to search previously un-indexed local and county histories, biographical works, some manuscript material, and western journals and serials! Head to history.denverlibrary.org, select Search in the top left, and search the “Subject Index” field for “Casa Bonita food.”
