DÃa del Niño, or Day of the Child, is a celebration that originated in Mexico and dates back to 1925. This day is about recognizing the importance of children in society and promoting their well being. DÃa del Niño takes place each year on April 30. Learn more at denverlibrary.org/dia
We’ll learn and practice different Latin dance styles like salsa, merengue and cumbia. This program is bilingual presented in English and Spanish. Ideal for ages 1-8 with an adult.

The Learning Lab presents a special concert for DÃa del Niño with Mariachi Corazón Alegre from the Colorado Youth Mariachi Program. Dance, sing, craft, snack, and learn about mariachi music from these talented local youth performers. All are welcome.
