Tuesday afternoon, in the first live recording of the Maritime Nation podcast, a trio of strategy and security luminaries answered questions from the audience and delved into the Biden Administration’s national security goals and performance, particularly in relation to the war in Ukraine and a potential hostile takeover of Taiwan by China.
Maritime Nation, which is available on Apple and Google podcasts, Spotify, and the Maritime Nation website, focuses on policy challenges for America’s sea services. The Tuesday recording will be published after Sea-Air-Space 2023 wraps up.
Maritime Nation is moderated by Admiral James Foggo, USN (Ret.), dean, Center for Maritime Strategy, Navy League of the United States (center). Tuesday’s podcast featured RADM John Kirby, USN (Ret.), coordinator for strategic communications, National Security Council (left); and David Martin, national security correspondent, CBS News, who served in the U.S. Navy in the late 1960s (right).
