Those who live with bleeding disorders or care for someone who does are at the center of any research through the National Research Blueprint going forward. The role of the lived experience experts (LEEs) was the feature of the session, NRB: A World Without Bleeding Disorders Through Community Driven Research.
Maria E Santaella, MSN, RN-BC, CPHON, offered an overview of NRB: “It’s a very ambitious initiative to build a transformation research enterprise through full community engagement. It’s really brought the whole community together to evaluate the whole research.”
