The CT Shaft Wall Stud System by CEMCO® is manufactured from hot-dipped galvanized steel in web depths of 2 1/2”, 4” and 6” with a standard G40 coating in 43 mil and 33 mil thicknesses. CEMCO’s CT Studs combined with standard CEMCO J-Tracks are a cost-effective solution for shaft walls, stairwells, and horizontal plenums that require a minimum one-hour fire rating. Approved with multiple gypsum board and liner manufacturers in several 1- and 2-hour UL Listed fire-rated shaft wall assemblies, CEMCO’s CT shaft wall system is one of the most specified in the industry.

Engineered for performance, Super Seal-X is tested and certified per UL-2079 with aluminum vertical window mullions and is listed under WW-D-0182. Super Seal-X provides 1- and 2-hour fire ratings, is sound tested per ASTM E90 (providing the same STC ratings as acoustic sealant), and comes with a black or white setback bubble gasket.
