Another year comes to a close as we bring you our final Edition of American Outdoor News for 2023. Hunting season has seemed to come and go before I could even head out into the woods. I did not have much of an opportunity to hunt this season because I spent a majority of the season guiding outdoorsmen on whitetail hunts. I will say that I completely enjoyed this season even though I did not spend much time in the stand myself. I had the pleasure of guiding several young hunters out into the field and was able to help them to tag their first deer ever! In my experience, there is no better feeling than watching the glow of excitement of a first-time hunter filling their tag. It is an honor to be a part of a memory that will last a lifetime. Hopefully, it will be story that they will pass along to their children in years to come.
In the December Edition of American Outdoor News, we feature Martha Tansy, a multi-talented young woman who I am proud to call a friend. Martha takes on tasks that you would traditionally think “that is a man’s job.” She builds trucks that she races off road. She can create tools and weapons out of necessity and she is a big game hunter. Martha does not just live the outdoor lifestyle, she embraces it. I know that this is one interview that you will not be able to put down.
Wildlife biologist, outdoor writer and my good friend, Mike Arnold also shares some of his adventures with you in this edition of American Outdoor News. As usual, we would like to thank you for subscribing and we look forward to your feedback.
Thank you again and we would like to wish you a very happy and safe Holiday Season.
Sincerely,
