Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. announced the departure of President and CEO Arun Banskota. The company named Christopher Huskilson as interim CEO while the board commences a search for Banskota’s successor. Huskilson is a former CEO of Emera Inc. who has been a director of Algonquin since 2020.
Justin Lagasse was named interim controller at Avangrid Inc. following the resignation of Senior Vice President and Controller Scott Tremble.
National Grid announced that Lisa Wieland will join National Grid in November as president of its New England business and sit on the Group Executive Committee, reporting to National Grid CEO John Pettigrew. Wieland will succeed Steve Woerner, who will continue to lead the New England business through the end of 2023.

The utility also announced that Bob Gunderman has joined as the company’s chief financial officer, responsible for overseeing accounting, financial planning, taxation, audit, investor relations, treasure insurance, and gas supply and control teams.
