Phil La Susa joined Alliant Energy as assistant vice president, gas strategy and sustainability. La Susa previously served as vice president of strategic growth and client engagement at TRC Companies.
Duke Energy Corp. promoted Harry Sideris, a 28-year company veteran, to president. The company also announced that Steve Young, executive vice president and chief commercial officer, will retire June 30 and that Michelle Mendoza, director, climate strategy and execution, retired in March. In addition, Brian Weisker became president of Duke Energy’s gas business, replacing Sasha Weintraub. Weintraub has become the company’s chief customer officer.
Exelon Corporation announced that Mike Innocenzo, previously president and CEO of Exelon subsidiary PECO, was promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer of Exelon. Dave Velazquez, previously Exelon executive vice president of utility operations and technology, succeeded Innocenzo as president and CEO of PECO. Innocenzo also assumed the chairmanship of the boards of directors at BGE, ComEd, PECO and Pepco Holdings, and Velazquez assumed the vice chairmanship of the board of directors at PECO. Also, Exelon Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Amy Best has retired after 32 years with the company. Denise Galambos, formerly BGE’s senior vice president of customer operations, succeeded Best as senior vice president and Exelon’s chief human resources officer. Doug Brown will retire as senior vice president and chief investment officer of Exelon on July 1. Jessica Hart, vice president of investment strategy and public markets, will be promoted to fill the position.
National Grid has appointed Courtney Geduldig as its chief corporate affairs officer. This newly formed role will lead National Grid’s corporate affairs function at a global level and be part of the group executive committee.
