At Alliant Energy, Barbara Tormaschy has been promoted to senior vice president and will oversee sustainability and regulatory strategy, and Michael Luhrs joined the company as the senior vice president of customer experience and strategy.
Citizens Energy Group announced that Craig Jackson has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer. Jackson succeeds John Brehm, who retired March 31 after more than 17 years at Citizens. Joseph M. Sutherland has been named vice president, regulatory and external affairs. Sutherland succeeds LaTona Prentice, who retired in March after more than 37 years at Citizens. Sutherland has served as director, government and external affairs, since 2014.
John O. Hudson III, president and CEO of Nicor Gas, has retired and accepted another executive position with Entergy Corporation. Hudson had more than 22 years with Southern Company, including executive leadership roles at Southern Company Gas and Alabama Power Company. With Hudson’s retirement, Wendell Dallas has been named president and CEO of Nicor Gas. With more than 25 years in the natural gas industry, Dallas most recently served as vice president of sales and marketing for Georgia Power Company and previously served as vice president of operations for two Southern Company Gas subsidiaries, Atlanta Gas Light and Chattanooga Gas.
NiSource announced Interim General Counsel Kim Cuccia has been appointed to the role of general counsel and corporate secretary.
ONE Gas announced a series of executive and leadership advancements. Kent Shortridge was promoted to senior vice president of operations and customer service, overseeing operations, gas supply and customer service for ONE Gas. Jim Jarrett was promoted to managing vice president of field operations, responsible for distribution and transmission field operations across ONE Gas. Chris Carr was promoted to vice president of operations for Oklahoma Natural Gas, a division of ONE Gas.
Southwest Gas Holdings, Inc. announced that the Southwest Gas board of directors has appointed Karen S. Haller, executive vice president, as president and CEO. Haller succeeds John P. Hester, who retired as president and CEO and also resigned from the board.
