Richard Kinzley plans to retire as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Black Hills Corp. in mid-2023. Kimberly Nooney, currently vice president, corporate controller and treasurer, will succeed Kinzley as CFO, effective April 1. Nooney will continue to hold the treasurer role.
At CenterPoint Energy Inc., Jason Wells, formerly executive vice president and chief financial officer, has been promoted to president and chief operating officer. Darin Carroll, formerly senior vice president, operations support, has been appointed senior vice president, natural gas business. Tony Gardner, formerly vice president, customer experience, has been appointed to senior vice president and chief customer officer. Steve Greenley, formerly senior vice president, generation development, has been appointed senior vice president, utility operations support. Kate Porter, formerly director, continuous improvement and data analytics, has been promoted to vice president, enterprise operational excellence.
Dominion Energy announced the promotion of Steven D. Ridge to senior vice president and chief financial officer, succeeding James R. Chapman, who left the company for a senior finance role outside the utility industry.
DTE Energy promoted Andy Coulouris, director, federal affairs, to vice president, corporate and government affairs. Coulouris succeeds Renze Hoeksema, who retired at the end of 2022 after 40 years of service to DTE.
Duke Energy named Abby Motsinger vice president of investor relations. She succeeds Jack Sullivan, who is leaving the company. Sharene Pierce was named vice president and chief diversity and inclusion officer. She succeeds Cameron McDonald, who moved into a new leadership role at Duke Energy.
At Enbridge Inc., Al Monaco retired as president and CEO and from its board of directors and will serve as an adviser until March 1. The board of directors appointed board Chair Greg Ebel to succeed Monaco as president and CEO. Ebel also continues as a member of the board of directors.
Leroy Nix has joined Entergy as vice president of federal strategic policy and stakeholder engagement. He previously spent more than a decade at Southern Company.
Chris Crane retired from his position as Exelon CEO and as a director of the Exelon board. The board elected Calvin G. Butler Jr., formerly president and chief operating officer, to the role of president and CEO. Butler also joined Exelon’s board of directors. Jeanne Jones was also named executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Jarl Thomas Young resigned as president and CEO of Memphis Light, Gas and Water. Members of the Memphis City Council approved Doug McGowen as the new president and CEO. McGowen previously served as the city’s chief operating officer.
Southwest Gas Holdings Inc. announced the appointment of Robert J. Stefani as senior vice president and chief financial officer, succeeding Gregory J. Peterson, who retired.
