Revolutionize your gas pressure monitoring with the intrinsically safe, remote battery-powered OSPREY PL4 RMU.
The versatile OSPREY PL4 remote monitoring unit can be installed in pressure regulating stations, district governors, city gates, posts and meter boxes to monitor gas pressure up to 1450psi.
Use with the OSPREY MCA (separate purchase) for a total of 3 pressure channels. In this configuration, you can monitor multiple pressures for a complete overview of the network performance: inlet/outlet of pressure regulating stations and filter differentials.
Data is transmitted automatically, to Abriox’s PressureTrac® cloud-based system for displaying, interpreting and archiving information, and for export to third party network management software and other business systems.
The OSPREY PL4 can be accessed directly via text for readings on demand.
Installation is simple and fast: Simply fix the OSPREY PL4 in place, connect it to the gas supply and activate with a magnet (supplied). From then on, everything is automatic. After a few minutes, a green light will flash to indicate that installation is complete. The whole process can be completed in under 20 minutes on site, and in all weather conditions.
Incident Evaluation Mode (IEM) alerts operators to situations including poor pressure, blockages and ingress.
Supplied with a SIM, or the installing engineer can use a SIM from the operator’s preferred cellular network provider.
Inbuilt GPS provides a timing reference so measurements are logged precisely, with no drift or offset.
GPS also enables PressureTrac® to identify the unit’s location, ensuring data is always identified with the correct monitoring point.
