We are looking for a gas operations director responsible for the continued growth and the safe, reliable and diligent operation and maintenance of natural gas operations at our EPCOR facility (formerly Hughes Natural Gas Inc.) near Houston, Texas. Candidate will provide leadership and expertise to the natural gas operations division and ensure operational integrity is maintained including regulatory compliance in all facilities; provide strategic and operational input to annual business plans, control budgets, and ensure that safety, operational and financial targets are met or exceeded.

This position with the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, performs difficult skilled work in the installation and relocation of gas regulators and related devices.
Qualifications and requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of three years of experience in gas service maintenance. Possession of a valid appropriate Virginia driver’s permit at time of hire. Requires the ability to obtain a CDL within six months of hire. Must be certified under the DOT Operator Qualification program for appropriate covered tasks including use of combustible gas indicator and flame pack. Must be certified for plastic pipe fusion and Mueller tapping equipment operation.
