ACUHO-I's The Journal of College & University Student Housing recently released two new issues, including a theme issue focusing on housing staff well-being.
The peer-reviewed issue of the Journal (Vol. 49, No. 2) includes articles on a variety of campus housing topics. Manuscripts are selected and edited under the guidance of a board that features editor Sarah Gordon of Arkansas Tech University and associate editors Philip Badaszewski, SUNY Buffalo State College; Denise Davidson, Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania; Gudrun Nyunt, Northern Illinois University; James Penven, Virginia Tech; and J.C. Stoner, The University of Texas at Dallas. Manuscripts in the latest issue include the following:
The theme issue (Vol. 49, No. 3) was guest-edited by Jason Lynch, an assistant professor of higher education at Appalachian State University. Lynch notes in his introduction that "In order to meet the demands of a quickly evolving 21st-century higher education landscape, housing leaders must develop a new set of skills that balance the needs not only of students, but also those of staff, and this includes helping to support and maintain their well-being."
