Julie MogenisI’m proud to have known Gunny & was deeply saddened in his passing.I first met Gunny at the Shooting Hunting Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT) in Vegas about January 2010. I received an invitation to interview him at the SOG booth. I was excited yet equally filled with intrepedation to interview this legendary character. That passed .By the end of this first encounter, he noted that “we should go hunting some time”. Just months later we did. We went to New Zealand and the commraderie and adventures continued. I will remember Gunny as a caring friend, huntin’ buddy, and pardner in crime and pranks. He will always remain in my heart. He will always be missed and remembered by all those that respect the honor and loyalty he lived.I wish peace to his family and those that were dearly close.
