The Decolt Grand electric golf cart not only gives golfers an easy way to transport their clubs before, during and after a round, but also is a vehicle that may be modified to fit their needs.
Configured as a motorized, modular three-wheeler, the complete Decolt system weighs in at 23.8 pounds and can be operated by remote control. But the Decolt Grand can also be used as a manual, three-wheel pushcart, or a two-wheel pushcart to go to and from the driving range.
“It’s the ultimate experience in luxury performance, and it’s like having your own caddie,” said Mark Myrhum, executive partner of Decolt Grand USA. “Whenever I play golf now, people stop me to ask about Decolt Grand, and several have purchased one immediately after seeing it.”
According to Myrhum, a thoughtful ergonomic design is what helps to make the system work so well. Decolt Grand carts are compact, he explains, yet possess plenty of storage space. Clubs are easily accessible and intuitively arranged and do not hit each other during play, and a low center of gravity also ensures that the vehicle remains stable throughout a game no matter how rugged the terrain, he says.
Myrhum is quick to tout the cart’s construction, highlighting the materials used by technicians in the Czech Republic capital of Prague. The electric drive comes from Switzerland and Germany. And the lithium batteries, which have a range of two to three rounds for each charge, are from Japan. As for the supporting skeleton, which includes the axle, wheels and handle, it is made of composite carbon fibers used also in the aerospace industry.
Bags are available in seven color options, and the Decolt is sold with accessories that include an umbrella with holder, a rain hood, a leather scorecard cover and a waterproof remote control.
