The Ecco Biom Hybrid shoe has been one of the most popular spikeless shoes in the market since the range was first launched in 2011.
Stepping out this year on the fairways is the third-generation Biom Hybrid 3 that completes the trifecta with a Tri-Fi-Grip comprising three zones.
The first of these is the outer section on the forefoot that is made from durable TPU and is firm, to deliver lateral stability during the swing.
The second zone in the middle is made from a softer TPU and is there for walking comfort and combines with a firmer durability region in the heel to counter the extra wear that area faces.
Finally, the third zone uses rounded lugs under the toe to create a rotational section to optimise movement as the foot rotates through the swing.
The upper is still made from the soft Racer Yaks leather that uses Gore-Tex breathable waterproof protection to keep your feet dry from rain and sweat and is guaranteed for three years.
The inside is all about comfort, with the Biom Natural Motion design keeping your foot close to the ground combined with an anatomical last for support and cushioning.
The Ortholite insole can be removed to create more width if required and the Freedom Fit design mixes a snug heel fit with a wider forefoot area to let your toes spread out.
The upper and sole are bonded by Fluidform technology, which means no stitches or glue are required.
That all creates a durable and lightweight shoe that is available now in a range of six colours.
