Following a short summer break, the greatest league in the world kicks off again – so mark the date in your diary to reserve your front-row seat!

While Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy and the other giants of the game are still right in the mix, the presence of this colossal Californian just can’t be ignored! Taking advantage of lockdown to add around 20kg of muscle, he’s smashing drives further than anyone in the field. While that alone isn’t enough to win trophies (just ask Happy Gilmore!), it’s certainly going to keep him in the hunt – and anyway, who doesn’t love an eccentric character added to the mix.
From September 10th, Sky Sports NFL, Virgin TV 403
The Baltimore Ravens quarterback was voted the top player in American Football by his peers, so don’t just take our word for it when we say he’s incredible to watch! His task to dethrone Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs as Super Bowl champs will be a tough one, though – and then there’s the small matter of 30 other teams eyeing up gridiron glory as the season gets in gear once more!

Well, he did say he’d be back! Arnie – along with former sparring partner Sarah Connor, portrayed by Linda Hamilton – return in what might be the finest update to the franchise in decades. Blending sci-fi thrills with spectacular action scenes, there’s plenty of firepower alongside the star power, too. Big, bombastic and brilliant; the type of movie that popcorn was invented for!
From September 25th, Sky Cinema Premiere, Virgin TV 301
When a film’s central performance claims every award going, you know you’re in for a treat – and Zellweger’s mantle-troubling haul of Best Actress gongs tell you everything you need to know here! Her turn as the legendary Ms Garland is less about high-kicks and highlights than a deliciously delicate character study that’s packed with emotion and detail. Fair warning, too; make sure you have a few tissues handy, cos this one could get weepy!
From September 19th, Sky Cinema Premiere, Virgin TV 301
His transformation from wrestling icon to Hollywood heavyweight complete, the leader of the Cenation flexes his comedy muscles in this family-friendly flick following a trio of firefighters who find themselves rescuing more than they bargained for! A film with plenty for the grown-ups as well as the younger viewers, it’s slapstick, silly and sweet in equal measure; perfect if the whole clan fancies hitting the couch together!
