Conrad Orlando — Set for Its Grand Debut

Evermore Orlando Resort—a massive 10,000-bedroom resort complex offering an array of stay experiences, from single homes to villas, flats and hotel guest rooms—is set to swing open its doors in late 2023. When it does, one of its most coveted offerings will be Conrad Orlando, debuting with 433 guest rooms, including 61 suites, 65,000 sf of indoor and outdoor meetings and events space, a spa oasis, chic F&B offerings and a signature rooftop experience.

Prevue got a sneak peek of Conrad Orlando during a recent hard hat tour of the complex. At this stylish property, where water is the overarching theme, the outside is invited in via large windows and spacious terraces. In fact, the property has stunning views of the Evermore complex’s central hub—an immense lagoon that will have a beach, a surrounding pedestrian-friendly promenade and a striking Boathouse structure overlooking all the action.

With its own entrance within the complex (groups will have their own arrival area), Conrad Orlando will be the luxury anchor point on the north shore of the lagoon, and as soon as attendees walk into the lobby that gorgeous body of water comes into view. The design of the property is very purposeful, with the meeting spaces accommodated on the left side and its right side dedicated to recreational pursuits.

With its floor-to-ceiling windows looking out at the gorgeous 18-hole Links Course, the convention space encompasses the 14,973-sf Acacia Ballroom, the 6,466-sf Jacaranda Ballroom and the 4,437-sf Juniper Ballroom, as well as an array of outdoor event spaces, including, but not limited to, the 9,000-sf Lyonia Lawn (reception can hold 800), the 3,420-sf Jacaranda Terrace (300, reception-style), the 2,628-sf Beachberry Terrace (215, reception-style) and the 3,825-sf Daylily Beach (230 for a banquet). Perhaps a Polynesian-themed event on the beach?

For an intimate VIP event, there’s the private dining room at Sophia’s Trattoria, or for a fun evening that tops off with views of the Walt Disney World fireworks, there’s the eighth-floor Ceiba restaurant. Variety is truly the name of the game at Conrad Orlando. Our takeaway: If you can imagine it, they’ll create it.

And we’d be remiss not to mention one of our favorite spots for attendees to re-energize after a long day of meetings: the 11-treatment room Conrad Spa & Water Garden.–Paloma Villaverde de Rico
