To help create better contact on
pitch shots, take your normal stance and set up. Then take your back foot and
lift it up in the air as if you were a stork on one leg.
Keep your leg up and hit your
pitch. This drill keeps you from falling back onto your trail foot, which
bottoms the club out too early. That causes the two worst shots: the blade and
the chunk.
