The IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS) awards recognize those individuals and groups who contribute to and support the purposes of IEEE in general and the VTS in an exceptionally worthy manner. Open nominations for awards are due 1 April each year, with forms available on the VTS website. The 2022 VTS awards were presented in person at the VTS Awards Luncheon on 28 September 2022 at the 2022 IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC2022)-Fall conference held on the campus of Imperial College, London, U.K. The VTS website contains a complete list of the awards.
The Best Paper Awards recognize the best papers published in IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology during the period 2017–2022 in the following four areas: systems, propagation, vehicular electronics, and land transportation. Each award consists of a certificate for each coauthor and a cash award equally divided among the coauthors. The basis for judging includes the number of citations, excluding self-citations in various citation databases, and the number of IEEE Xplore downloads.
This is awarded to the best systems paper published in IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology.
