Lee advises strategic companies and private equity and infrastructure funds on M&A, project development and joint venture transactions in the energy and infrastructure industries. He represents petrochemical companies, storage and logistics companies, midstream developers and operators and exploration and production companies.
Geospatial analytics company Satelytics has added veteran oil and gas executive David Skidmore to its board in an advisory role. He has been an energy executive for over 35 years, holding positions across all major businesses of bp, most recently serving as vice president of lower carbon power for the company, where he was instrumental in helping the organization transition and ultimately create low-carbon energy businesses.

Caldwell,
formerly Takeuchi’s national product manager, has transitioned to become the
manufacturer’s new Southeast regional product manager. In his new role,
Caldwell will be responsible for all dealer and national rental account support
activity within a multi-state area spanning Alabama, Florida, Georgia and
Mississippi.
Mei Ling Cheah joined the ROSEN team as senior corrosion engineer, and Gordon Blair was appointed as area business development manager. Cheah holds a BEng in materials engineering and extensive experience in corrosion engineering. Blair has over three decades of experience in IRM and pipeline services.
Paradigm
appointed Gerhard Slaman to head sales for its European drilling market.
Slaman, a consultant, will oversee technical sales and business development
across the region. He has 27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry,
specializing in downhole tools.
Pipeline
engineering specialist STATS Group’s Chief Executive Officer Leigh Howarth
is stepping down in a planned leadership transition and will assume a
non-executive director’s role with the company. Stephen Rawlinson, STATS
regional director North America and Global Sales director, will succeed Howarth.
Rawlinson has spent 13 years in various management roles at STATS, including general
manager, regional director and sales director positions in North America.
The
Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC) appointed Tony Otoa as its chief officer
Corporate Affairs. He has over a decade of experience in corporate
communications, public relations and stakeholder engagement. In his new
position, Otoa will foster strategic partnerships, while advancing the company’s
mission in Uganda’s oil and gas sector.

handling company Pettibone Traverse/Lift, LLC is celebrating the 75th
anniversary of the Cary-Lift, which became the world’s first forward-reaching,
rough-terrain material handler upon its invention by Phil LaTendresse in 1949.
Shortly after its origin, the Cary-Lift product line was acquired by Pettibone,
and it remains an industry-leading solution for pipe, pole and log handling to
this day.
McElroy

that Jim Kirchdorfer and Ian Powell have been inducted into the Fusion Hall of Fame. Created in 2019, the
Fusion Hall of Fame recognizes the development and acceptance of fusible
plastic pipe, along with the advancements that the industry has seen over the
last 50 years. Inductees are individuals whose contributions have been
particularly notable.
Comprehensive
energy solutions-provider Waukesha Pearce Industries (WPI) is celebrating
its 100th anniversary. The family-owned business was founded in 1924 by Louis
M. Pearce, Sr., as a drilling rig manufacturer.

The
Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP), launched of
its Basic Coatings Inspector Certification (CIP Level 1) and the Ethics for the
Corrosion Professional eCourse in French. The initiative, a first for AMPP,
caters to French-speaking professionals in the corrosion and coatings industry
and aligns with recent regulatory demands.
U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm appointed Joe Powell, the founding executive director of the Energy Transition Institute at the University of Houston, to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Industrial Technology Innovation Advisory Committee (ITIAC). The 18-member committee will create a comprehensive strategy to accelerate the development of innovative technologies and processes designed to help decarbonize the American industrial sector and reduce emissions.

Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners’ Executive
Director Greg R. White announced plans to retire at the end of 2024.
White assumed his position with NARUC in December 2015. During his tenure,
White enhanced the association’s national position as the voice of state
regulators through increased partnerships, expanded grant-funded resources,
streamlined operations and unparalleled national meetings. He also served as
