Gulf Energy Information’s Global Energy Infrastructure database is tracking nearly 1,050 active projects in the hydrocarbon processing industry. At 40%, the Asia-Pacific region dominates in total active project market share. The region is investing heavily in new processing capacity to satisfy increasing fuels and petrochemicals demand, as well as new natural gas infrastructure (e.g., LNG liquefaction/regasification capacity, pipelines) for power generation.
