Odyssey’s third drop in the limited-edition lineup of premium Damascus Steel insert putters features the Damascus Milled Jailbird Mini Double Bend and Damascus Milled Square 2 Square Seven models ($699.99).
The unique Damascus Steel insert is crafted from a layered construction of multiple steel alloys – forged, folded and pressed to create a unique pattern in every piece. The layered structure, combined with a specialized heat treatment, delivers a finely tuned and responsive feel unlike other inserts. Utilizing AI, the contours on the back surface are precisely engineered to promote consistent ball speed across the face.
Each head is precision milled from premium stainless steel. A premium blasted silver finish complements the Damascus insert and sole plates.
“Damascus Steel is a beautiful material, and the patterns tell the story, because every one is different,” said Jacob Davidson, Odyssey’s general manager.
The Damascus Jailbird Mini DB version is a face-balanced putter with ¾-shaft offset preferred by players with minimal arc.
The Damascus S2S Seven has a classic Odyssey shape in a zero-torque configuration that is best suited for players looking to minimize face rotation during the stroke.
