With three new models and two redesigned classics, Newton Golf launches its Gravity Premium Series line of putters.
Formerly known as Sacks Parente Golf putters, the line has been redesigned and rebranded as Gravity, ushering in a new era with a fresh, modern aesthetic featuring red and black ceramic-coated models.
The fang-style Drac and Prism mallet models underwent a Gravity makeover and are joined by three new putters – the Classic anser-style blade, the double-wide Deuce and the half-mallet Duke. Each one features a new Newton Tempo putter shaft to provide better feel and balance.
All of the Gravity Premium Series putters ($450 each) are equipped with Newton’s patented “Ultra Low Balance Point” and center of gravity as low and close to the ball as possible, improving tempo by placing the weight of the putter predominantly in the head, with very light grips and carbon fiber shafts. This design minimizes spin and promotes a smooth, repeatable tempo for a more consistent roll.
Maximum moment of inertia design increases the stability of the face, effectively widening the sweet spot to ensure forgiveness and consistency even on off-center strikes.
“We named the new putter division Gravity because it perfectly encapsulates this fundamental design principle, which enhances the natural tempo and precision of every putt,” said Greg Campbell, executive chairman of Newton Golf. “When the golfer lifts the putter on the backstroke, potential energy is stored and, by trusting gravity to accelerate the putter head during the stroke, golfers can achieve consistent velocity at impact – which is proportional to the length of the backstroke.”
