“The Story of 2009,” the first of 10 new documentary podcasts covering some of golf’s greatest stories, has been released on The Open Podcasts.
A project that began nearly two years ago, The Open Podcasts will release a new documentary episode every Tuesday until mid-December.

“The Story of 2009” is the first episode to be released. This original documentary focuses on Stewart Cink, Tom Watson and the dramatic events of The 138th Open Championship at Turnberry.
Told through the perspectives of Cink, Watson, Jack Nicklaus, Lee Westwood, Ross Fisher and many others, alongside narration from BBC golf presenter Hazel Irvine, “The Story of 2009” will take you on a journey through all of the twists, turns and tension from one of the greatest Opens in history.
