The Tennessee Section hosted its Annual Meeting and Merchandise Show this past February. Over two days, Tennessee Professionals and Associates enhanced their skills, networked with peers, gained insight into PGA of America programming, and discovered new products for their shops. We welcomed over 45 booths representing more than 115 of the game’s top brands and services, along with tables highlighting PGA programs designed to support veterans and boost facility revenue.
Beyond the show floor, breakout sessions led by professionals, PGA of America staff, and volunteers provided valuable education. Members engaged in roundtable discussions, sharing ideas and best practices to elevate their careers and businesses.
Our Section’s officers gave updates on the past year’s accomplishments. Dawes Marlatt from the PGA of America presented on the PGA’s education curriculum . Followed by the Celebration of our Members Ceremony, where we honored our 2025 award winners, half century, quarter century, and new members. The day concluded with the voice of the Tennessee Titans and PGA TOUR announcer Taylor Zarzour sharing his experiences.
Elections for TNPGA Secretary and At-Large Board Member were conducted. Braxton Hunter, PGA from Fairways and Greens Golf Center in Knoxville, TN was elected as our Secretary and Alex Cox, PGA from The Golf Club of Tennessee in Kingston Springs, TN was elected to the At-Large board seat.
With record-breaking attendance, an incredible lineup of speakers, and a dynamic show floor, the Tennessee PGA Show was a resounding success, bringing professionals together to learn, connect, and grow the game.
