Hired by our late Executive Director Kirk Stanzel, Tess has done just about every job in the Iowa PGA. She served as an Administrative Assistant, Communications Director, Junior Golf Director, Assistant ED and Interim ED when Troy Christensen resigned in 2017.She will is a Quarter Century Member of the PGA of America having been elected to membership on 2/1/2001.Highlights:

Iowa PGA Golf Professional of the Year – 2019

Numerous other awards.

Helped start our golf pass in the early 2000s

Expanded the Junior Tour (started in 1998), and the Pee Wee Tour shortly after

The Iowa PGA will be having their spring meetings on Monday, April 20th at Elmcrest Country Club in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.One of our Iowa PGA Members was named to the Global Golf Post All Pro Team 2026 Honorable Mention. Jay Giannetto, PGA of Elmwood Country Club has been named.
