- TSPGA Annual Spring Meeting
- Date: March, 2026
- Location: The Meadows Hollywood Casino, PA
The Tri-State PGA held its Annual Spring Membership Meeting on March 2, introducing a revived concept during the gathering. The "Tent of Engagement" featured a table with traditional clipboards and signup sheets for each event organized by the PGA REACH Foundation Tri-State. Executive Director/CEO David Wright emphasized the tent's role in promoting the new section slogan for 2026: "Your Section! Your Season!" He explained, "Every member shapes this season, whether you compete, teach, mentor, or serve." This initiative aims to encourage not just tournament participation but also involvement and support for section initiatives.
The Tent of Engagement was a great success, resulting in numerous on-site registrations, including for the Birdie Bash, which increased from 4 teams to 15. This idea was also recognized in the "Cool Idea" feature included in the weekly Section Business Operations Email and Website Portal on Friday, March 6.
A special thank you goes to District 4 National Director Tim Fries, PGA, for attending the meeting and providing positive feedback on the initiative, which he promoted to other PGA sections and directors as a valuable idea. We also thank Regional Director Josh Riley, PGA, who reached out for more information to feature on the SBO Portal.
It was a fantastic meeting, and it was great to see a large number of section professionals, partners, and regional PGA directors in attendance.
