Tina Tseng, Sunny Shimabakuro, Suzan Sabado and Irene Nabata-YeeThe Team Play Championship began in 1969. The championship consists of area clubs competing in a team format in their local area 18 hole qualifier, with the top teams moving on to the final round. The number of teams moving on to the final round is dependent on the number of teams competing in each area. A maximum of 32 clubs compete in the final 36-hole, two-day tournament.
