The NCGA’s Weekend Net Tour Team Championship has already long been decided, with the tandem of Kathy and Krittikun Chiraphanda making it two titles in a row.
The Individual title—and Player of the Year honors—are however still up for grabs.
Following the conclusion of the regular season on Oct.5, players who finished high enough in the Points Standings will earn trips to the Weekend Net Tour Playoff, which will tee off Nov. 2 at TPC Harding Park.
Players advancing thru the Playoff will then move on to the WNT Tour Championship, which is set for Nov. 15-16 at Poppy Hills.
The Weekend Net Tour is a series of one-day, weekend-only competitions that are held at some of the best courses in the NCGA region.
All events are held on Saturday or Sunday mornings and consist of both individual and team competitions with a wide variety of formats including Four-Ball Net, Stableford, Chicago Points and Individual Net. As a bonus, there are also optional skins games.
Tournaments are flighted by handicap index to ensure players of all abilities enjoy the competition and have a chance to win prizes.
Like the NCGA Player of the Year Points Program, the Weekend Net Tour also has a points program where players compete for WNT Player of the Year and WNT Team of the Year honors.
The season-long points program also is used to determine spots in the WNT Playoff, which leads to the season-ending Weekend Net Tour Championship. As a bonus, the top 10 players on the points list after the Playoff Event receive free entry into the Tour Championship.
While it’s too late to join the 2025 season, the 2026 Weekend Net Tour season isn’t too far away! Stay tuned for more info and next year’s schedule.
