The 2026 Chicago Golf Show® featured the return of one of the event’s biggest thrills — the CDGA Longest Putt Benefiting the CDGA Foundation and The Evans at Canal Shores. Golfers from across the Chicago District gathered at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, aiming to sink the putt and gain tickets to one of the premier golf events of the year - the 2026 Presidents Cup.
Located within CDGA Town Square, the CDGA Longest Putt gave visitors the chance to take on one of a pair of challenging 80-foot putts. Bleachers positioned to the right of the flagsticks created a lively viewing area where fans gathered to watch the attempts unfold. New in 2026, golf show attendees were able to gather just past the holes in an area featuring a life-sized version of the Presidents Cup. Throughout the weekend, long lines stretched across the exhibit hall floor as attendees waited for their chance to step up and test their skills.
In all, 2,592 people attempted the putt, with 152 being made - including one by 5-year-old Austin (pictured). All who attempted received a BOGO coupon to Jersey Mike’s. The attendees who sank the putt were awarded two tickets to the 2026 Presidents Cup Tuesday practice round, one dozen CDGA-branded Tour Edge Exotics Golf Balls, one dozen CDGA-branded Tour Edge Hot Launch Golf Balls, a CDGA-branded hat from Imperial, a CDGA-branded towel from Wincraft and two regular-size Jersey Mike’s Sub Sandwiches.
Of the 152 people who drained the putt, six winners were randomly drawn from a raffle and received a grand prize, such as a Stay & Play Package to Tullymore Golf Resort in Mecosta County, Michigan, a set of Tour Edge Hot Launch irons & woods with a full fitting and golf bag, an Ultimate 2026 Presidents Cup “Swag Bag,” two tickets to a Chicago Blackhawks game, “Golf Balls for a Year,” which includes either 12 dozen CDGA-branded Tour Edge Exotics Golf Balls or CDGA-branded Tour Edge Hot Launch Golf Balls. Over the three days, $12,960 in fundraising was generated for the CDGA Foundation, the CDGA Sunshine Programs and The Evans at Canal Shores.
