AltaGas Ltd. welcomes Donald “Blue” Jenkins as executive vice president and president, utilities, and president, Washington Gas. Jenkins succeeds Adrian Chapman, who has retired. In addition, Colleen Starring has been named senior vice president and chief operating officer, utilities, and at Washington Gas, Luanne Gutermuth, the company’s executive vice president and chief administrative officer, has retired.

Baltimore Gas and Electric Company has named Sandy I-ru Grace as vice president of governmental and external affairs. Grace replaces Valencia McClure, who has retired.

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation announced that Jeffrey Sylvester has assumed the role of senior vice president, responsible for the company’s natural gas transmission and regulated distribution businesses.

Entergy Corporation named Kathryn Collins as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. Collins reports to Entergy Chairman and CEO Leo Denault.

Following the close of its acquisition of Peoples, Essential Utilities Inc. (previously Aqua America Inc.) has announced its executive leadership team, reporting to Chairman and CEO Christopher Franklin: 

  1. Richard Fox, executive vice president, chief operating officer
  2. Christopher Luning, executive vice president, general counsel
  3. Matthew Rhodes, executive vice president, strategy and corporate development
  4. Daniel Schuller, executive vice president, chief financial officer
  5. Ruth DeLost-Wylie, senior vice president, business transformation
  6. Susan Haindl, senior vice president, chief administrative officer
  7. Christina Kelly, senior vice president, chief human resources officer
  8. Brian Dingerdissen, vice president, chief of staff, investor relations and communications
  9. Kimberly Joyce, vice president, regulatory and government affairs

In addition, Joseph Gregorini, formerly Peoples’ chief operating officer, leads the natural gas utilities for all states as president, and Colleen Arnold, formerly Aqua’s deputy chief operating officer, leads the water and wastewater utilities for all states as president.

Exelon Corporation has appointed Calvin G. Butler Jr., CEO of Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, as senior executive vice president of Exelon and CEO of Exelon Utilities, a role he has held on an interim basis since Oct. 15, 2019. Carim Khouzami, formerly senior vice president and chief operating officer of Exelon Utilities, has replaced Butler as CEO of BGE. 

Fortis Inc. announced the appointment of David Hutchens as chief operating officer, Fortis. In this newly created role, Hutchens’ responsibilities will broaden to include operational oversight of the corporation’s 10 utilities across Canada, the United States and the Caribbean.

Middle Tennessee Natural Gas has named Mike Davidson as executive vice president and CEO, following the retirement of James Hodges. Cliff Swoape has been promoted to director of human resources and communications.

RGC Resources Inc. announced that John S. D’Orazio has retired as president and CEO. The Board of Directors approved the appointment of Paul W. Nester as president and CEO of the company effective with D’Orazio’s retirement.

Steve Lindsey has been appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer of Spire Inc. In this role, Lindsey retains oversight of Spire’s gas utilities while assuming management oversight for the company’s midstream operations, which include Spire Storage and Spire STL Pipeline.
