Bubba Wallace is a NASCAR Cup Series winner, and it has indeed sunk in. The 28-year-old is the face of 23XI Racing and with dedicated partners, he’s ready to show why he will be a force to be reckoned with in 2022.

“It’s been busy that’s for sure, but a good busy. All of the benefits of a win are definitely appreciated. It seems like we’ve been having something to do -- a social gathering or a test at the racetrack -- every day since Sunday. It’s nice to have a day in and catch up on some sleep. It’s been good since Talladega. Life’s been good.”
“The partners we have at 23XI have really stepped up in a huge way to take me under their wing. It’s special and humbling to know we have the support of these big time companies. We don’t take that for granted and we try to do everything we can to keep the sponsors happy, besides winning. We have the conversations behind the scenes to make sure we’re doing everything right and vice versa. They want to make sure they’re doing the right things, too. That’s why I always call them partnerships and not sponsorships, because it’s more and they’re a partner working together to make the most out of a relationship instead of just slapping their name on a car and handing over a check. They’ve been part of my career for a few years now. It takes me back to when I was a kid. After every basketball game my sister would play in, we’d go to McDonald’s. I’d go and play in the fun house. That’s all I cared about. To come full circle and to see them on my racecar with their brand on my chest is really cool.”
“No, not really. Whatever happens, happens. Things happen for a reason and I never predict my future of where we’re going to be and what’s going to happen. If everything stopped tomorrow, I’d be like, ‘What are we going to do next?’”
“Next year is a huge turning point for the sport with the Next Gen car coming out. We have some laps under our belt, and testing at Charlotte Motor Speedway was good. We’re building on our communication. As a team, we need to come together and rally behind that car and figure out what it needs because it is so different than anything we’ve ever raced in Nascar’s history. It’s definitely going to be a year of trying to understand things and put certain places. Bringing Kurt [Busch] on board will be big for us and having that knowledge. We’ll have a lot more eyes, opinions and thoughts going into next year, which should be good.”
