The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season can’t go much better for Trackhouse Racing’s Daniel Suarez. The brand-new team is coming off its first top five finish and it’s Suarez’s first since 2019. Now, team No. 99 is ready to battle for wins, and Suarez believes this is his best chance to prove what he’s capable of.
Now that the Chevrolet-backed team is settling in, Suarez is aiming to make the playoffs for this new organization.

“2020 was difficult, and I’m very excited for this new start. I’m looking forward to doing some great things with Trackhouse Racing and Team Chevy. Chevy has been great to work with, and we’re going to do a lot together. We have a bright future ahead of us.”
“Justin and I have known each other for a long time and we’re good friends. I knew he was working on starting up a team, and we started having conversations about how it was going to look like. Being competitive, for me, was important. Having support from RCR and Team Chevy was the key for me. We’re in position to have a very good team with capable people who have experience and have been in the sport for a while. We’re doing things outside of the box in and out of the racetrack. All of this made me realize Trackhouse is the place for me.”
“I want to compete and run up front. I think we’re going to win a race. I think it can happen early in the season, and then we can think about winning more than one. With the support of Chevy and RCR, anything could be possible. I know what I need to be competitive and I’ve learned a lot in the last few years.”
“Last year was difficult in many different areas. There were a lot of things that helped me be better mentally. It’s helping me work harder and to grow as a person and a driver.”
