Based on the award-winning Deep Blue Kids Bible (Common English Bible), Cokesbury recently released Deep Blue, a new children’s curriculum, for use starting this autumn. The Sunday school lessons offer stories, science experiments, arts and crafts, animated video storytelling and active games to help children learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.

DVDs use animated videos to tell Bible stories. They also feature Bible verse videos, Bible trivia and original music videos while colorful books encourage children to “dive deeper” into the Bible. The app offers a parental dashboard, mini games, customizable avatars, fun weekly mini quests and a video wall feature to help learning continue through the week.

Deep Blue offers age-appropriate activities for nine age and learning model groupings, including a single-room setting for 3- to 12-year-olds. Large-group/small-group format is available to allow elementary children to gather in large groups for the Bible story and music and then break into age-level small groups.

The DeepBlueKids.com website has resources for leaders, children and families to continue learning during the week.
