In describing the Big Bertha B21 irons, Callaway engineers say they are endowed with a technology package designed to deliver more ball speed while also encouraging higher launch and improving accuracy.
Start with the shape of the clubheads, which boast thick toplines, wide soles and generous offset. Those features are in place to enhance forgiveness as they also improve turf interaction. A Flash Face Cup designed through artificial intelligence bolsters ball speeds and the distances that golf balls fly off these sticks, the company says. And a Visible Tungsten Energy Core is employed to deepen the center of gravity with “extraordinary precision” and make the B21s launch higher and with greater ease. Then, there are the proprietary urethane microspheres that are included to absorb unwanted vibration without reducing ball speed.
Available with KBS Max CT80 steel and Callaway RCH graphite shafts stock, and with Tour Velvet 360 Soft grips from Golf Pride, the Big Bertha B21s are offered in sets running from 4-iron to PW and also include AW, SW and LW.
