Megan Brennan became the 74th, and first female, Postmaster General on February 1. Her appointment signals more of what publishers have seen with Brennan’s predecessor, Patrick Donahoe. In a letter to employees, Brennan highlighted innovation, equipment upgrades and the need for continued structural changes. “However, the way we are structured today and the way we serve the public today will not be adequate to fully meet the demands of tomorrow’s marketplace,” she said. “To be successful in the future, we will continually reorient our business strategies to better connect with our customers and redefine the ways we serve the American public.” ![]()
